This is what the cobra should be.

Still exactly the way it left the dealership with a magazine article about this car from 1991.

Unrestored and unmolested.
No filler with 1 re paint to keep the body that way.
Have the smog system.
The cast iron intake and original carburetor with the ram air intake are included.
The engine has a Ford medium riser aluminum intake on it.
The drivetrain has been freshened from the radiator to the new locker rear.
The engine was externally balanced.
The article is also why the car does not have staggered shocks.
It left the factory as an automatic, 350 gear pwr.
brakes, steering and am radio.
14 months later it left the dealership a radio delete, 4 speed 391 gear and oil cooler.
Every part on the car starts with C9.
Owned the car for about 20 yrs.
and only bring out for shows and it draws a lot of attention.
Very rare.
These cars are so clean with just the cobra snakes and hood scoop with 428 cobra jet.
The title says Fairline cobra.
The back of the block has 66 - 427 stamped on it with a C welded on the other side.
It is not a cross bolted block but has the reinforced webbing.
The top loader is correct with the reverse shifter opposite and it does have the shelby shifter knob that they came with.
This car is a trip back in time.
